Why did you decide to go?

Held in GW I participated in soudai's Taketomoson. That soudai will be on stage I went.

Join JJUG CCC

See here for the basic timetable.

The venue looks like this.

(Blurred-lol)

Below are the sessions I participated in Points and comments that I thought were important in retrospect.

1. RDB anti-patterns you want Java engineers to know

point

--Don't embed logic in your data --The app does not know the contents of the database --When you stop DB, the service stops --If you change the DB, you need to repair multiple services. --Data is constantly changing ――Unlike apps, DB knowledge will not go away in a few years. --Monitoring is important.

comment

――It's natural, but all are important. --Especially monitoring. ――You can guess what is good and what is bad.

2. Java and idol collaboration! ?? Behind the scenes of a certain idol bot development

The story of Wakasama bot where you can talk with Yumi Wakatsuki of Nogizaka46.

Phrase

――Do you guys meet? (Lol) ――For the time being, the goal of this session is for everyone to recommend Mr. Wakatsuki (laughs). ――There is an image that LINEbot seems to be difficult, but it is not so. ――I didn't buy the code more than I expected --Basically, the words accepted by LINE are thrown to Microsoft Cognitive Services and the analysis result is returned. ..

comment

――Actually, I saw it using a young bot, but it's amazing! interesting! Lol ――I would like to do something like this in a lecture that I think I should try to make something myself. Lol ――Image analysis of Microsoft Cognitive Services seems to be interesting. ――How many bots should I make? For me, Riho Yoshioka I wonder if I can make it with a bot lol

Other lectures I heard

3. The appeal of Kotlin from the perspective of Java engineers

――I was wondering what Kotlin is like on Google I / O 2017. ――For the time being, it is highly compatible with Java and I feel that it can be written simply. (I'm sorry if it's different. Lol)

4. Introduction to graph database

――Well, it really feels like an introduction. ――Graph database It's interesting, but it doesn't go beyond the interesting area. ――After that, Momo-san will do her best. .. .. Lol

Other

Except for listening to the lecture, basically I met at the previous Atlassian User Group To Mr. Inuyama of Atlassian I was consulting about how to use JIRA. It seems that every company is still exploring.

Does anyone know how to use Portfolio for JIRA? Well, I'm using JIRA, so it would be best if I could do it. Well, I wish there was a good way to monitor Agile.

at the end

Because I still don't understand the outside world I will continue to participate in such outside events.

Thank you everyone!

-Soudai -Mr. Masaya Tate -Mr. Kikutaro -Mr. Air -Atlassian Inuyama
