[JAVA] Study memo that got a job at an IT company from inexperienced

2019.12.25 update

29 years old with no experience in IT industry I learned for 1.5 months at a free programming school and got a job Scheduled to enter at the beginning of the year. (Headquarters of a certain company)

Specifications before study ・ Graduated from a private university ・ Mac user win I'm not good at playing with it ・ Understand HTML ・ I have published the website on WordPress (using lollipop) ・ I have never touched programming. ・ Excel and Word MOS2003 Expert possession But I forgot about macros at all

Self-study summary (Java)

■ Study until getting a job ・ School study Basic syntax → SQL → Bug repair → Personal development ・ Dot installation paid registration I was watching the dot installation for about 15 minutes before going to bed. ・ For personal development, create an inventory management system Registration, deletion, addition, update, image registration deletion update, keyword search, sort function, etc. with mySQL → My own breakthrough that I am not good at self-study and rely on people immediately

■ List of studies I have done about java since I joined the SES company (still) (I didn't qualify)

・ A comprehensive review of Java basic syntax Basic if or for. Review the part you forgot at school Since the company uses Win and was a Mac user, it starts from where I can become a winPC anyway.

・ Progate paid registration → java, javascript, CSS, command prompt (a little) ・ PAIZA learning started: E or D rank at first I can't solve it at all, I'm not used to it, the time limit is over (tears) Slowly solve the time-up PAIZA. (D rank)

・ Certificate 3rd and 2nd grade free questions

☆ PAIZA C rank reached

・ PAIZA paid registration A video on how to use HashMap is useful!

・ Oracle silver app problem collection installation (paid: about 2500 yen) The Oracle app is worth 2,500 yen because it can be played on the train and the volume is amazing. If you buy a book together with the contents, it will cost more than 4000 yen, so it's a great deal. You can study increments and scope ranges.

・ Responsive homepage released It takes about a week to produce. Progate CSS course (advanced) is quite useful

・ Solve about 10 C-rank problems

・ Algorithms are taught by seniors with more than 10 years of development experience.

☆ PAIZA B rank reached There was a time limit of 2 hours, so I was able to work on it with a little margin.

・ Certify mock exam, 3rd grade question, 80 points or more confirmed (taken twice)

・ PAIZA learning Linux, shell command attendance Attended the progate command prompt in parallel What I felt, PAIZA, Progate videos & assignments only There are some aspects that I don't understand. If both are done in parallel, the lack of explanation can be compensated.

As for the command prompt, Progate was easier to understand personally.
