NB: JAVA_HOME should point to a JDK not a JRE error when doing mvn on Windows

My cause

--In the environment variables, M2_HOME and PATH were set in the user environment variables, and JAVA_HOME was set in the system environment variables. --Also, the error NB: JAVA_HOME should point to a JDK not a JRE does not occur because the path destination is JRE, but is generally displayed when the JDK cannot be recognized.

Solution

--Set JAVA_HOME in the user environment variable.
