Check points when Windows and Ubuntu shared folder settings are not successful in VirtualBox

In VirtualBox, you can set a shared folder that can be referenced by both the host OS and guest OS.

Settings are made from VirtualBox Manager in "Shared Folders" in the settings menu of each guest OS.

However, just setting it here did not work.

The following two points were additionally implemented, and the settings were reflected.

  1. Install Gust Additions
  2. Execute the following command
sudo gpasswd -a {username} vboxsf
