I passed LPIC102 today so I will post it
See the previous post for details on how it was acquired. https://qiita.com/M_RK/items/8f26b179a42a93f14fc7
・ LPIC level1 overall: Approximately 3 months ・ LPIC102: Approximately 1 month
・ Score: 640 points ・ Breakdown Shells and shell scripts: 75% User interface and desktop: 75% Administrative tasks: 91% Essential System Service:66% Networking Fundamentals:92% Security: 90%
· Shells and shell scripts Differences between environment variables and shell variables, shell options (set command), alias specification, how to write shell scripts, etc.
-User interface and desktop Technology that uses GUI on Linux (X Window System), remote desktop settings, etc. for people with disabilities
・ Management tasks User creation commands, group creation and management methods, cron settings (scheduling), time zone settings
・ Essential System Service System clock (date command) Hardware clock (hwclock command) setting, time acquisition from NTP server (ntpdate command), syslog setting, mail transmission / reception, printer setting
・ Networking Fundamentals Basic knowledge of TCP / IP (typical protocols and port numbers), network-related configuration files for IP addresses, commands that can be used for troubleshooting (ping, traceroute, tracepath), etc.
·Security xinetd settings (super server), open port confirmation (ss command), password expiration settings, ssh settings, etc.
Compared to 101, 102 was able to learn more about infrastructure. Most of the network part was also used for business, so it felt like a review. Comprehensively looking at LPIC level 1, it would be good to learn if you are going to work as an infrastructure engineer. In terms of difficulty, I think that even if you have no experience with Linux, you can acquire it by studying for 4 months.
