[JAVA] Let's try Zoomdata (Usage 2)

(1) Preparation of dashboard

Last time, I did the first visualization work with ** Zoomdata ** using 5000 ** CSV ** data. This time, I would like to introduce a little more in-depth usage. Log in to ** Zoomdata ** to enter Home.

F1.jpg

At this stage, the dashboard has not been created, so ** Add your first Chart here! It just says **. Then select the icon to the left of the home icon and then select ** Data Sources ** on the right tab.

F2.jpg

The available data sources will be displayed, so select the ** Naughty Personal Information ** you created last time. Then, a chart for availability will pop up, so please select ** Donut ** for the time being. (As for the content of the data, I think that it is randomly generated like that, so please just grasp the atmosphere.)

F4.jpg

I think that the chart created in the previous summary will come out.

(2) Creating a dashboard

With this alone, the range of objects to be visualized and hypotheses to be assumed will be narrowed, so I would like to add some charts. First, select ** Add New Chart ** at the top right of the screen.

F6.jpg

Then, as before, a list of available charts will pop up, so select ** Bars **.

F7.jpg

F8.jpg

I think the bar chart was created on the right side of the donut chart created earlier. Here, in order to confirm the cooperation with the time axis, which is a feature of ** Zoomdata **, select the calendar icon at the bottom of the dashboard and from the ** Time Range ** menu that pops up. , Try selecting ** Max Available Range ** at the top. Since the data range to be visualized covers the entire area, you can see that the display has changed in synchronization with the event.

F10.jpg

Next, change the visualization target on the right side. As data, the item ** How to eat curry ** seems to be interesting, so let's add this to the dashboard. First, select ** Marriage ** at the bottom of the bar chart, then select ** How to Eat Curry ** from the menu that pops up.

F11.jpg

Then, I think that the contents of the bar chart were changed to ** How to eat curry **.

F12.jpg

Similarly, I selected some charts for visualization and finished it like a dashboard.

F14.jpg

Will be. Also, here, I changed each title to Japanese notation, and also changed the dashboard title to Japanese notation. Basically, if the character code is ** UTF-8 **, it can be displayed and handled as data, so please make positive use of it. (Each title is ** what a name **, so don't be too crazy (sweat))

(3) Saving the dashboard

Since it is a dashboard created with much effort, let's ** save ** so that it can be used from the next time onwards. There is an icon called ** Save ** in the upper left of the screen, and when you select it, a pop-up called ** Save ** will appear. If you fill in the required items here and select the ** Save ** button, the dashboard created this time will be displayed on the home page.

From the next time onwards, access will be possible via this home, which will improve convenience during actual work, and at the same time, it will be easier to share created dashboards and manage their classification. I will.

(4) Summary of this time

Although it was urgent, we have introduced 1: from the introduction of ** Zoomdata ** to 2: cooperation with data sources, and 3: the basics of dashboard creation. From the next time, I would like to introduce the cooperation with ** Big Data **.

** Zoomdata ** has made it possible to move most of the processing forward with ** query base ** by using a technology called ** microquery **, basically without causing movement of the actual data. From now on, instead of ** fixed processing for the final form of data **, ** visualization / analysis processing from the generation process ** has been given up in many cases, for ** big data ** ** It is possible to do it directly **. In addition, these evolutions and innovations will create a phase of data utilization in companies and organizations, which will create large crustal movements from ** speculation to observation **, and ** new possibilities for data utilization **. It may be said that ** big data ** has been upgraded to new stages such as ** acquisition of large added value ** and ** realization of problem solving based on realistic observation and analysis results **. ..

Next time, I will introduce the background of ** Zoom data ** including that area and examples from overseas.
