[JAVA] Let's try Zoomdata (Big Data: 2)

** Big Data ** Edition: In 1, the connection verification with ** Cloudera Impala ** will include the actual procedure by utilizing the virtual image published by ** Cloudera **. I introduced it. This time, I would like to perform connection verification in the same way for ** Solr Search ** found during the environment setting.

(1) Connection setting

First, as usual, enter ** Zoomdata ** with ** admin ** and bring up the ** Sources ** screen of the gear icon.

S1.jpg

There is a ** Solr ** icon, so select it.

s2.jpg

Enter the required information and select ** Next **.

s3.jpg

I will set the information about the connection, but this time I made it as follows.

Connection Name : Cloudera Solr Hosting Type : STANDALONE Base Url : http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8983/solr/

Here, ** xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ** uses the address of the virtual server on which ** Cloudera Solr ** is set up.

After completing the settings and selecting ** Validate **, if there are no problems with the parameters, a green pop-up will appear at the top of the screen. Select ** Next ** on the lower left side.

s5.jpg

I think there will be some demo environments, so this time ... ** twitter_demo_shard1_replica1 ** will be selected.

s6.jpg

Regarding the time axis, ** created_at ** seems to be usable as it is, so I will proceed with the remaining items quickly.

(2) Verification on the dashboard

Until the last time, I was working after returning to the main screen, but this time I will create a dashboard from the screen of successful setting.

s9.jpg

If you select the green ** + New Chart & Dashboard ** at the top right of the screen, a menu of available charts will pop up, so try using ** Word Cloud **.

s10.jpg

I think that the tendency regarding the location of the outgoing user of ** SNS ** will be displayed by the size and color of the place name. Next, try moving the ** Time Bar ** at the bottom of the screen left or right. You can see that the display of ** Word Cloud ** changes by linking to that information.

s11.jpg

You can also search the actual data stored on ** Solr ** by entering the character string to be searched in the ** Search ** field at the top right of the screen. (At the same time, the display of the location and frequency of occurrence under that condition will change.)

s13.jpg

Similarly, for some data stored on ** Solr **, let's create a chart in the same way as the verification so far.

s14.jpg

Save the created dashboard for the next time and later.

s16.jpg

Since I was able to save it safely, I can start from here from the next time onwards.

(3) Summary of this time

In this connection verification, ** SNS ** information is statically pre-stored data for access verification, but for example, it is configured to be added to ** Solr ** every moment. By flexibly setting the access to the data source on the ** Zoom data ** side, it becomes possible to handle it as a simple ** big data ** access with high efficiency and high speed, so it is simple and flexible. You will be able to realize ** Rias Time ** / ** Streaming ** analysis. The synergistic effect of ** microquery ** and ** on-memory technology ** brings new possibilities to the usage of ** big data ** that we have given up until now, and at the same time, the process of final data being completed. By observing and analyzing, you will be able to realize great added value and competitive advantage. Next time, I would like to introduce the connection using ** Hive On Tez **.
