How to convert from .mgz to .nii.gz
Purpose
The file output by FreeSurfer contains a fractionated cortex and white matter image (VOI).
However, the extension mgz of those files is a FreeSurfer-specific extension and is inconsistent with other software.
Therefore, the extension of aparc + aseg.mgz, which is the output file of FreeSurfer, is converted to .nii.gz.
