[RUBY] TECH CAMP After 10 weeks

finally! All TECH CAMP curriculum is over! It seemed to be long for about 10 weeks and it was quick.

And today, the final assignment presentation was held jointly by Teams A and B. Instead of showing off the flea market apps that we actually developed, it was a place to share each person's thoughts on slides. I was able to feel the hardships of team development, the points of growth, and what to do in the future. スクリーンショット 2020-06-12 20.11.27.png

Personally, I really enjoyed team development. While the use of classrooms was restricted by the corona turmoil, we used Slack and Zoom to work together. If these methods become the standard for working styles, I think it would have been a good practice. Also, as a Scrum Master, I am very grateful that I was blessed with responsible members while coordinating tasks. 5313ad44866f4042078066425ac60b72.gif

For those who are going to take TECH CAMP / who are thinking about taking it

・ The curriculum is OK with half understanding! You will understand it as you develop the app! ・ Acquire search power rather than memorization! Get in the habit of searching not only in programming but also on a regular basis! ・ Learn not only with the TECH CAMP curriculum, but also with Progate, Youtube, and technical books! Advantageous in gaining a wide range of knowledge and multifaceted perspectives! Or rather, it's better to do it before attending! ・ Develop the ability to ask questions to mentors = Gain the ability to ask questions to bosses and seniors in the workplace! Ask questions positively and logically with the idea! ・ If you want to go to the classroom, it's not the time of the corona turmoil! Let's wait until it settles down! ・ Let's think about where to find the value of 700,000 yen! If you just want to learn programming, there are other ways! Experience in team development? For a job change? Don't be frustrated? ・ The conditions for job change refund compensation are strict, so don't count on it! No matter where you move, it's OK even if you're not a full-time employee. There are no special conditions for your annual income, so you can only get a refund if you can't find a job for half a year! ・ Be careful as you will not be able to see the curriculum once you get a job! ・ Take good care of your friends! We will get to know the people in the same group through meetings and team development! Rather, communication skills are quite necessary! If you think you are not good at it, let's take this opportunity! It is important to exchange opinions in team development! Socrates also says that the truth of things can be reached through everyone's dialogue, not the speech of one loud person!

at the end

I use the word "contribution to others" as a saying in life. Trust your peers (≠ trust), give them no rewards, and don't seek approval. Finding happiness in giving something to others, even small things, enriches your life. Oh, it's not about money or things (laughs) I think about money a little (laughs) I think that sending on Twitter and Qiita is also a give. In particular, the articles so far have been written for my own output and for those who are thinking of taking TECH CAMP more than that. The articles of other engineers and those who are learning were really helpful. I am full of gratitude. I'm still a beginner, so I'm just taking, but I'd like to continue giving.
