I would like to express my impressions, hoping that it will be helpful for those who have graduated from Tech Camp for about two and a half months and are considering taking it in the future. Don't get me wrong, I have no intention of criticizing or criticizing from the top.
First of all, I feel that the short-term intensive tuition fee of 650,000 yen was not worth the price. The value is about 400,000 yen.
If you give a reason and a comment, ・ The level of hair growth on the basis of teaching materials (still difficult for inexperienced people) ・ You can study with other teaching materials such as Udemy and books (those who cannot study by themselves are worth taking) ・ Although it says that you can ask as many questions as you want, the hurdles for asking questions will rise relatively quickly (although it is an opportunity to learn how to ask the correct questions, in order to create an accurate question format and before the mentor and the call are connected. It takes enough time to study 1-2) ・ Wide range of mentor quality (most of them were good mentors, but some mentors are trying to finish it quickly) ・ By acting according to the daily schedule, you can have a total and efficient day (however, it depends on the person. If my pace collapses, my concentration will drop at once, so after the middle stage, I will accept my teammates I was doing it at my own pace) ・ I can't answer questions outside the curriculum (especially after my own app, I can't answer the questions. I really wanted to learn a lot here) ・ The Ruby problems that I solve every day are interesting (it's like Paiza. It's fun if I like quizzes like me) ・ High hospitality of life coach (Although it promotes improvement points, it raises confidence and motivation very well) ・ 80% of the information obtained from career advisors can be obtained online (useful for those who do not know what to look for and how) ・ Teammates are not always able to enhance each other (even if there is a difference in progress early, they are the same teammates until the end. In terms of sharing pains ◯. Since they are online almost all the time, with other teams with the same progress I wanted you to have an opportunity to interact)
Is it such a place?
Although it overlaps with the above, if you are considering taking a course, first try programming with Progate, and then try self-study with video materials such as Udemy. If you don't understand, try using Menta. Although it is limited, if you live in Fukuoka city, you can use the coworking space called engineer cafe operated by the city for free about 5 minutes on foot from Tech Camp, and you can ask the engineers stationed in the afternoon. I can do it. If you try something like the above and why it doesn't work, you may consider it.
That's all, but I feel that the satisfaction level is half and half. I think I was satisfied if the tuition fee was already low at 100,000 to 150,000.
I just don't regret it. It's because I have the pride that I choose and do it myself.
Last but not least, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the people who took care of me at TechCamp. And I hope this article will be of some help to someone.
