Wifi adapter not recognized on Ubuntu with Windows dual boot

Conclusion

If you start Windows once and then restart Ubuntu (start the boot selection screen with F12 etc.), the Wifi card will be recognized.

The process

Even if I start Ubuntu, the wireless LAN does not connect, and when I look at the settings, it says "There is no Wifi adapter". .. .. It's impossible to restart repeatedly, but sometimes it works. .. .. So it was the result of trying to change the conditions as I could think of.

environment

PC LIFEBOOK WU2/B3
Windows SSD in PC
Ubuntu Install on external USB HDD

Wifi card is not recognized How to start

  1. Launch Ubuntu directly
  2. Reboot Ubuntu
  3. Start Windows once, "shut down" and then start Ubuntu

How to start up the Wifi card is recognized

  1. Start Windows once and "reboot" to start Ubuntu
  2. Reboot Ubuntu once it recognizes the Wifi card
  3. Shut down Ubuntu once it recognizes the Wifi card & start Ubuntu again

Consideration

It seems that Windows is different from shutting down and restarting (citation needed), but may it be related to that?
